KumKum NrityaBhumika is an Odissi dance academy founded by Dr. Tulika Tripathy, created to pass on the classical tradition with clarity, discipline, and joy. Here, Odissi is taught from the ground up from basics like posture, chowka/tribhangi, mudras, rhythm and musical understanding with through structured lessons for beginners to advanced learners. Alongside training, the stage confidence, abhinaya, and a deep respect for the culture that shaped this timeless art will be taught as well,

Dr. Tulika Tripathy is an internationally performing Odissi dancer, researcher, and cultural ambassador who brings the same discipline and depth to dance that she brings to science. She earned her PhD in Physics from IIT Bombay in 2024 and is currently a researcher at CNRS LPCA in France. She has represented Odissi on leading stages in India and abroad, including the Konark Festival 2023, Baden Dance Festival in Switzerland 2024, the Annual Convention of the Odisha Society of UK in London 2025, and the International Odissi Dance Festival 2025. She is recognised as an ICCR empanelled artiste since 2018, a Doordarshan Grade B artiste since 2016, and an empanelled artiste of SPIC MACAY in 2024. Tulika is also deeply committed to teaching and outreach, sharing Odissi fundamentals, repertoire, and abhinaya with a growing global community through her online presence. Through KumKum NrityaBhumika, she guides students with a strong traditional foundation and a clear, structured approach, making Odissi accessible to modern learners worldwide.
